At NerSalberg farm , located at Røra in Inderøy, Jakob and Marit live and run the farm. Since taking over the family farm in 2012, they have developed an organic and animal-friendly operation with woolly pigs (Mangalitsa), which roam freely outdoors all year round with access to large areas. The farm is Debio-certified, and the pig production carries the Animal Protection Label, confirming high standards of animal welfare and sustainable values.

You should expect to get a bit muddy on a woolly pig safari, so we recommend wearing clothes and footwear suitable for such conditions.

Woolly pig safaris are arranged by prior agreement during the period from Friday 20 June to 15 August.

Accommodation on the Farm

Would you like to stay overnight on the farm? They offer a very centrally located one-bedroom apartment of 28 square metres. The apartment is brand new and forms an extension to the traditional trønderlån farmhouse dating back to 1816. It features a spacious and well-equipped kitchen, a bathroom with washing machine, a bedroom with a double bed, and a living room with a sofa bed, making it ideal for a family of 3–4 people.

The property enjoys a beautiful south-facing view over the Trondheim Fjord. The apartment is located in Røra, midway between Steinkjer and Verdal, with easy access to Straumen and the Golden Road (Den Gyldne Omvei).
They also offer rental of an outdoor kitchen with a pizza oven and a Jacuzzi.
